Ventia engaged Aqua Prep to create a specialised program for removing the upper two-thirds of the coating, which included a red- lead primer.

An independent coatings inspector evaluated the lead coating after the removal and treatment process. Their assessment conrmed that the treated water met the standards for safe disposal into the sewer system.

This innovative approach resulted in significant cost savings for YVW and Ventia, reducing disposal expenses by thousands of dollars. Additionally, the project was completed earlier than anticipated.
